What can we fix next with 2014 Parks Replacement Bond funds?
The Parks Replacement Bond was passed in November 2014 with overwhelming voter support. Your support authorized up to $68 million in general obligation bonds to make repairs and replace the most critical needs in Portland parks.
The first phase of repairs is currently underway on over 30 park improvement projects citywide. During this phase, almost $48 million of allocated funds is being spent to improve playgrounds, pools, roofs, Pioneer Courthouse Square, restrooms, and park maintenance facilities.
Now, it’s time to decide how to spend the remaining $20 million for the second phase of park improvements! Please join us at one of the following meetings to learn more about Phase 2 of the Parks Replacement Bond and give us your feedback on our next proposed project list.
We are pleased to announce that there are two Town Hall meetings scheduled with Portland Parks & Recreation Commissioner, Amanda Fritz!*
