Vanport Mosaic celebrates the history of Vanport and its residents! Vanport was a unique sociological experiment that forever altered Oregon’s racial history. The Vanport Mosaic Festival is a 4-day celebration commemorating the 68th anniversary of the Vanport Flood, uniting Portland area residents through historical and artistic tributes.

A registered 501 (c)(3), The Vanport Mosaic helps to preserve the memory of the people and stories of Vanport. Oregonians of all ages, race, ethnicity, gender, socio-economic status, rallied behind a grassroots effort to keep history alive.
