Neighborhood Crime Alert

Early (3:30am) Monday a suspicious car was observed driving slowly through the neighborhood in the vicinity of NE Gertz Rd, NE 20th, NE Edgewater, NE Levee and NE 17th. The car appeared to be casing houses, and/ or looking to syphon gas. The police were contacted and responded but the vehicle had left the area. The neighbor who observed this was able to get a license plate and description of the car. It was a silver Mitsubishi, 4 door sedan with damage to the doors on the passenger side. License plate is 733TFN. If you see this car call the police immediately.
