Volunteers Needed
We need about 4-5 volunteers to help set up for the tool sale on Friday May 1st from 3-6pm and 
2-3 volunteers to help run the sale on Saturday May 2nd from 10am–3pm.

Please let us know if you can help out on either day. 

As always I want to THANK all the folks that have come in over the winter months to assist at the Library. You know we love you and appreciate all the time you put in at the Tool Library.

Break in alert!

One home at the end of Levee Road and another along the north side of South Shore recently had break-ins.  On Levee the house itself was broken into and along South Shore it was an out-door storage building.  Please be alert to suspicious activity to secure both your own property and that of your neighbors.

MCDD Open Board Positions

The Peninsula Drainage District #2 and the Sandy Drainage Improvement Company are currently seeking to fill vacant board positions. The next few years will be a particularly important time for the districts as they undertake the investigation, repair, and potential improvement of the levee system that protects a critical portion of the Portland region.

Board members must be either a landowner in the district or the representative of a land-owning entity.
