One more hearing on Comp Plan amendments tomorrow!
Council to hear more testimony on Commissioner-sponsored amendments; then on to work sessions before a vote to adopt Portland’s new Comprehensive Plan. 

Mixed Use Zones Project’s big changes to commercial zones
How will Portland’s main streets and corridors look and feel in the future? The Mixed Use Zone’s Project offers some changes to help create more vibrant neighborhoods and meet residents’ daily needs. 

Updated Zoning Map coming soon
Early implementation projects for the Comp Plan Update are revising Portland’s zoning map and code. Portlanders will be able to testify on a new “composite” zoning map at a public hearing with the Planning and Sustainability Commission on July 12.

City Club releases report on housing affordability in Portland
Key findings include the need for dedicated local funding, zoning code updates and for-cause eviction notices.
