A Gas Tax for Portland?

Commissioner Novick makes his pitch for a city gas tax

 
In the afternoon of January 27th, the Portland City Council will vote to put a city gas tax on the ballot. Earlier that day, Commissioner Novick will speak at our breakfast forum, explaining the need, outlining where the money would go, and answering your questions.

Since 2007, CCA has been actively involved in efforts to improve Portland’s (and Oregon’s) street maintenance. It’s a classic example of being penny wise and pound foolish. We’ve had some success and a good bit of failure. Join us for a look at the details, led by the most detail-oriented member of City Council.
