Air show notice

 

2014 Oregon International Air Show
September 19-21, 2014 
Portland International & Hillsboro Airport  

The Oregon International Air Show is September 19-21, 2014 at Hillsboro Airport (HIO). Residents near HIO may experience temporary changes in overflight activity as well as aircraft noise during the show and during practice/preparation activities prior to the show. 

Air show activity will also result in temporary changes to departure procedures at Portland International Airport (PDX). Due to the temporary airspace restrictions around HIO during the air show, it will be necessary for jet aircraft departing to the west from PDX to be turned to the north or south sooner than usual. This may result in changes in overflights or noise for airport neighbors.
