Our well-hidden typography museum
Slanted drawers keep matrices
from getting “out of sorts.”

This Monotype keyboard has separate keys for
upper and lower case and special characters.

The Monotype tape output is something
like a player piano roll.

The holes on the keyboard tape tell the Monotype
caster where to find the correct character.

These ingots are an alloy of lead, tin
and antimony – perfect for printing.
