Hi all,

We are getting excited about Commissioner Dan Ryan’s town hall event at the Firehouse on 8/22/23 from 6-7:30 pm.

Wondering if any of you would be so inclined to lend a hand helping to spruce up the yard and building exterior?

We would greatly appreciate it! Summar and I will be tidying up on Tuesday, August 15th from 10-4:00.

What we could use your help with:

  • Hosing down/ sweeping building entries and windows
  • Picking up trash
  • Raking/sweeping
  • Pressure washing sidewalk near entries? (does anyone have a pressure washer?)
  • Some attention to the kiosk frame

Let me know if you are aware of any groups needing some volunteer time…😊

Please rsvp- we can provide refreshments.

And on August 22nd afternoon, we would be so grateful if folks would like to help us with set up for the event.

If you haven’t stopped by, the kiosk plexiglass has been replaced; we are happy to post your event flyers, and other related information.

Thanks, Mary and Summar

Recognition, Respect & Gratitude What we now call Portland, OR and Multnomah County were the traditional lands of the Multnomah, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Tumwater, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Wasco, Molalla, Cowlitz and Watlala bands of the Chinook, and many other Tribes who made their homes along the Columbia River.

Today, people from these bands have become part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, as well as the Chinook Nation and Cowlitz Nation in Washington State.

We want to express gratitude to the original caretakers of this land who were displaced by white colonizers, and to those who still reside on it.
